Hi Cell formulations are prepared using herbal extracts from commonly used herbs, spices and food crops. Our extraction process is designed to specifically extract only those phytochemicals from herbs/spice/food crops that are effective on specific parameters such as growth/disease/pests of various crops. These extracted phytochemicals are combined into final products using natural (super critical CO2) and alcoholic solvents and emulsifiers.

The formulations are extensively tested for their efficacy on commercial farms growing various fruits, vegetables and field crops. The results of these trials are carefully analyzed/evaluated by a team of experts at Hi Cell lab and only then they are commercialized. Even after commercialization, our teams constantly monitor their performance. We regularly share this updated information with our customers.

Research and Development

Our research in this area is supported by people who have extensive experience in global commercial horticulture, and we develop our formulations on a simple concept that the solutions to biotic problems in horticulture are always available in nature, we just need to look for them. Through years of research, we have identified phytochemicals from various commonly used herbs/spices/food crops that are effective in mitigating various problems faced by modern commercial horticulture. Similarly, there are few formulations that have multiple benefits for different crops. The combination of Hi Cell Shakti * Hi Cell Victor has been shown to be effective under field conditions in controlling difficult to control diseases such as Xanthomonas Axanopodis punicia in pomegranates, downy mildew in table and wine grapes and fire blight in apples.

 

“Hi Cell Viceroy, can delay senescence at all stages. This opens a new window for agronomists to manipulate the maturity of important horticultural crops, delaying ripening and improving disease tolerance.

 

“Hi Cell Vitis” replaces N-(2-chloro-4-pyridyl)-N’-phenyl urea (CPPU) with better results and without undesirable side effects such as lignification of the grape stems and stalks. “Hi Cell Vitis” can increase the Brix level of grapes by 31% with two applications seven days apart. This has been demonstrated on the Arra 15 variety.
