Solanaceous crops constitute a major chunk of vegetable crops grown around the world. In the last fifty years, advanced breeding techniques have brought about a revolution in cultivation techniques and quality. However, having said this, the challenges in the cultivation of these crops have also increased manifold. The challenges are arising from inadequate crop rotation, and the ever-changing climate is throwing up newer challenges in the form of disease and pest susceptibility. This has rendered many of the more popular older and even newer molecules less effective. Being 100% natural and OMRI compliant, many of Hi Cell products can assist the farmer to achieve better results.

Nursery: Seed priming with 10% Hi Cell Master solution has shown to enhance seed germination percentage. Thereafter, regular application of 2-5 percent Hi Cell Victor + Hi Cell Master has shown to develop healthy seedlings with an extensive root system. Hi Cell Master, has very potent bactericidal properties, thus can control “Erwinia” and Pythium infections.

Growth: Our extensive demonstrations have shown that the application of Hi Cell Master (2-3%) + Hi Cell Victor (2-3%) in drench (every week) has a systemic action and can control most of the early-season pests and diseases in tomatoes and capsicums in outdoor CEA cultivation. For any type of fungal infection, farmers are advised to use Hi Cell Bonus (2-4%).

Maturity: Application of “Hi Cell Viceroy” (2-3%) will enhance and consolidate the plant growth, develop an extensive root system, and stronger shoots. For any type of fungal infections, farmers are advised to use Hi Cell Bonus (2-4%).

Flowering: Application of Hi Cell Shine (2-3%) will induce flowering and pollination. The application of Hi Cell Victor (2-3%) + Hi Cell Master (2-3%) in drench will control most of the pests, including aphids, jassids, and thrips.

Fruiting: It is advisable to use Hi Cell Victor (3-5%) and Hi Cell Master (2%) in drench to control most of the sucking pests. The application of Hi Cell Bonus (2-3%) will control fungal infections and enhance fruit quality.

SOS: In case of viral infection, apply Hi Cell Viceroy (3-4%) (please note that the application of Hi Cell Viceroy can delay the fruit ripening process).

SOS 2: In case of severe fungal infections such as downy mildew, apply “Hi Cell Shakti” (2-4%).
