Berries such as strawberries, raspberries are commercially the most important berries produced around the world. Strawberry cultivation is increasing, so are the challenges. Extensive breeding techniques have produced sweeter and larger berries. Having said this, challenges posed by climate change and more stubborn old & newer diseases have seen a yield dip, and revenues negatively affected. At Hi cell, we have developed many products that will assist the strawberry farmer to mitigate these problems.

Runner production: Application of “Hi Cell Master” (2-4%) in sprays every seven days apart will induce faster growth of runners and protect the strawberry plants from bacterial infections. Application of “Hi Cell Victor” (2-3%) will protect the plants from pests.

Transplantation: Immediately after planting the runners in a new field, the application of “Hi Cell Master” (2-4%) + “Hi Cell Victor” (2-3%) in drench every seven days will take care of most of the soil-borne diseases and pests. This formulation will also result in faster growth of plants and induce early flowering.

Growth & Maturity: Regular (seven days apart) application of “Hi Cell Master” (2-3%) and Hi Cell Victor (2-3%) in drench or spray will take care of most of the bacterial and pest infestations. The application of Hi Cell Viceroy (2-3%) will develop a strong root and shoot system and profuse flowering in strawberry plants.

Fruiting: Application of Hi Cell Shakti (2-3%) will take care of most of the fungal infections in strawberry plants. Whereas application of “Hi Cell Vitis” (2-3%) will increase fruit size and brix of strawberry fruits. It has been observed in our trials that the application of Hi Cell Shine (2-3%) in sprays significantly increases the yield of marketable strawberry fruits in most of the varieties.

SOS: Recently, it has been observed that due to sudden climate fluctuations, many opportunistic fungi attack strawberry plants. For this purpose, we suggest the application of the Strawberry combo “Hi cell Shakti + Hi Cell Victor“.
